Course boundaries:

  • Course boundaries are marked by white stakes and white lines.
  • Out of bounds is defined by two stakes close to each other, while an arrow on the ground indicates the direction of out of bounds area.
  • When playing from other holes, the stake marking the inner boundary is defined as an immovable obstruction.

Water hazards:

  • Water hazards are marked by lines and stakes.
  • The line precisely determines the boundary of the hazard, while the stake merely defines it.
  • The ball is in the hazard when any part of it touches the lines or an imaginary line between the stakes (if there is no line).
  • Stakes marking water hazards are movable obstructions.
  • Bridges are part of the water hazard.
  • When making a stroke from a bridge in a water hazard, players may touch the surface of the bridge with their clubs.

Moving obstructions:

  • Stones and rakes in sand obstacles
  • Stakes marking water hazards
  • Distance markers (measurement from the front edge of the green)

Immoveable obstructions:

  • Benches and trash cans
  • Trees supported by wooden stakes together form an immoveable obstruction
  • Sprinkler heads, manhole covers
  • Ball and club cleaners
  • Black and white stakes indicating the recommended direction of play
  • Artificial surfaced and imaginary paths
  • Crushed bark and plants covered with it

Protection of young trees:

  • All individually planted young trees, supported by at least one stake, which are not part of a continuous forest stand, fall under the young tree protection rule (exempt ball drop).

Safety:

  • You enter the golf course on your own responsibility
  • In the event that you feel that you may be at risk from lightning, immediately interrupt the game and move to the clubhouse without waiting for the corresponding signal.
  • The signal given by the marshal to immediately stop play due to lightning danger is a long siren tone.
  • By disregarding this warning, you risk not only potential penalties from the marshal (being expelled from the premises and forfeiture of fees) but also your health and life.
  • Players on the driving range will also move to the covered teeing area, their cars or the clubhouse immediately after the siren signal.
  • Failure to obey the call to stop training and leave the grass tees will lead to penalties similar to those imposed on the course.
  • When resuming the game, follow the instructions of the marshals and the golf reception.
  • Be considerate of other players and follow safety rules
  • Never stand in the anticipated direction of play of other players, within range of their clubs or at the same level as their balls.
  • Observe the prescribed time limits for each hole
  • Slow play will be addressed by the marshal (warning, suspension of play and allowing faster groups to play through, expulsion from the course, and forfeiture of fees).
  • Players playing too fast, endangering the group in front of them, will be warned or removed from the field

Etiquette:

  • Attend to ball marks on the putting greens
  • Replace divots on the fairways and semi-rough.
  • Do not disturb other players with your behaviour
  • Restrict mobile phone use
  • Use playing balls only (not driving range balls) – failure to do so will result in a two month suspension from the course and forfeiture of fees.
  • Follow staff instructions
  • Adhere to the rules of proper behaviour, local rules, and the golf rules of R&A.

Unauthorised clothing:

  • Clothes made of blue denim
  • In the case of men, trousers shorter than approx. 5 cm above the knees
  • In the case of men, t-shirts without a collar
  • Tank tops
  • Shoes with a hiking soles or other overly distinctive sole designs

Repeated violation of the local rules will be punished with a warning and expulsion from the field!
Particularly serious breaches of safety rules and playing with driving range balls will be punished by expulsion from the field without warning

Have a nice game
